My Background

 I'm primarily a self-taught artist, although I have taken classes over the years at places such as MICA and the Delaplaine Arts Center. I have always had a desire to create since a young age, and have always made expressing myself creativly a part of my life.

I've used many different mediums, such as watercolor, acrylics, and pastels. Currently, oil painting is my preferred medium because of the intense of color it renders, and the ability to mix and maintain paints that I can use in an ongoing process. 

Noticing, and seeing things as they truly are. Seeing beauty in what we all can experience in the everyday inspires me. When I paint, I exaggerate features with the use of vibrant color and composition.
